Blue Norcross Range Preview

Here at Blue we've been feverishly working on our 2011 range of bikes, and the first group of bikes to get the once over is our cross bikes. During our time over the last few years of working with Jonathan Page, we've learnt a lot about how to make the best cross bike on the market and with the introduction of the Norcross for the 2010 season it was a great milestone for us. Taking what we learnt in the development of the Norcross, and the feedback from Jonathans experience racing on the European cross circuit, the bike we thought couldn't get any better, just did! We've also revamped the rest of our cross range, with the addition of a new carbon frameset and the revamping of our alloy frame, and all of the Norcross bikes will be part of the Jonathan Page Signature Series. A portion of all the sales of our cross bikes will go towards keeping Jonathan in Europe and competing against the best cross racers in the world.

Here's the breakdown:

Norcross SL

The frame itself on the SL will be the same design from the 2010 Norcross bike, but we've added some more clearance in the chainstay area and the fork has been updated to include carbon dropouts. Features will include the 1 1/2 lower headset bearing and BB30 bottom bracket.
Norcross EX

Brand new for 2011, the EX will feature a carbon monocoque design using the same geometry as the SL. The fork will be the exact same one that we used on the 2010 Norcross and will feature a 1 1/2 lower headset bearing. BB30 will also make an appearance in the BB area. The EX will come in weighing around 150 grams heavier than SL frameset.
Norcross SP

With the CX6.5 leaving our range for 2011, it will be replaced by the also alloy Norcross SP. The SP will feature the same fork as the EX frameset, including the 1 1/2 lower headset bearing and also come standard with BB30 bottom bracket. The SP will be THE bike for the budget conscious rider who still wants great performance.
